Getting back to work after a vacation sucks. Who’s with me? I took a trip to Phoenix to help clear my head after a very tumultuous two months after my dad died. At first, I didn’t think I needed it but after I about a month, I started feeling the need to get away. By the time we reached T-7 days, I was about to lose it. Getting on that plane was so freeing, and now coming back, I feel much more able to handle work and life, and everything else.

Sometimes doing the work sucks and it actually feels like work. "Do good work" reminds me to do the work even when it's hard. It forms character and saves you tons of stress later on. "Do Good Work" is in the fuel my company runs on. It's the "how" of everything I do, and in that way, my dad will always be a part of what I do.

Well, hey there, Friend! Welcome back. A week and a half ago, I turned 33. So far, I am ON IT. I scheduled a massage, a hair appointment, a doctor appointment, lost two pounds, applied for my passport, and I even have an appointment with a tax accountant to do my taxes before April. I'm slaying. And I got a new ampersand for my desk. Anyway, I have some good stuff for y'all this week.
