Opportunity
Create a logo for a new aviation business/flight school in the southwestern United States.

Solution
To create an appeal to potential flight students, I chose four concepts that hearken back to the days when there was a romance to aviation, the Golden Age of aviation. I wanted to convey fun, dignity, class and authority. Using bright bold colors are suggestive of fun and location, and the typefaces chosen offer a subtle throwback to the romantic era of flight. Eventually, the round concept with the orange, red, and yellow stripes was chosen because it was reminiscent of a flying team patch.
